Hi All,
The AGM meeting was chaired by Stewart MacPherson.

PLANT of the MONTH: won by Jessica Biddlecombe with a lovely N. Sanguinea “purple”.

DOOR PRIZE: Won by Terry Watts.

The talk was given by Stewart on his new books just out “New Nepenthes” volume one and “Field Guide to the Pitcher Plants of Sulawesi”. Both these books show plants newly discovered and photos never shown before. While I have not had a chance to fully read through these new books yet just the bits I have looked through are fascinating. Before you say “not another Nepenthe book” remember plants are being discovered constantly by people all over the world and these books do not disappoint. There is a picture on the front cover of “New Nepenthes” that shows N. appendiculata discovered by Greg Bourke after a long trek up the mountain. These newly discovered plants are the making of I want----I want

I can’t wait for the book on Borneo to arrive!!!

Greg Bourke is putting out a “coffee Table book” hopefully it will be ready in March. We all know the work Greg has done and his photography so get ready for this book.

Mt Tomah display/sale starting 3rd March to the 11th March. All pots MUST be CLEAN and WEED FREE.
Don’t forget an extra label with your name and the plant price on it, 10% of sale price goes to the Society.
This is the time to catch up on all the members that live far away and we can only see them at time like this also the gardens are beautiful at this time and you must visit the carnivorous bog. All will be welcome to help as we need those plants going to the “pay Table” as quick as possible so the customers have free hands to get more plants!!!

The AGM was well attended and we thank all those that gave their time to the Society, not only those in office but those that worked on the sideline.
This year we have PRESIDENT: Stewart MacPherson, VICE PRESIDENT: Peter Biddlecombe, SECRETARY: Jessica Biddlecombe, TREASURER: Steve Moyle, COMMITTEE: Greg Bourke, Jensson Turnowsky, Laurie Dorf, Terry Watts and Robert Pollett.

Thanks to all and to those that helped me with the AGM on the night.
