I hadn't looked at borneo exotics site for a while(I guess because I wouldn't be importing myself) and theres that blurb about Nepenthes truncata 'Queen of Hearts' x 'King of Spades' being available now or soon.
Anyone know anything? Are the australian distributors going to get any?

Well after a brief email to Robert at Borneo Exotics- theres none imported here yet and the only way is to mobilise one of the distributors- (ie Captive exotics or Augustin),

I've been looking for this plant also. I've sent a few emails around to australian distributors about it and I never got any response. : /

On the other hand, how many of us would it take to make it 'worth' ordering from their perspective for one of the importing distributors?

Well Edmond sent an email saying a few people were planning to get together and import some- I'd be in that if I could for a few plant even if it does seem expensive and risky plant survival wise

From my understanding it has not been long released, Tony at CE may import some, I do not know. But it going to cost you guys a lot of money to import them, and there is no quarentea that they will survive.

Its sold out at the moment, but Ive been told theres going to be 2 more releases then thats it for a long time. End of this year and March next year.
Bobblybook, I think the question should be how many of us would be willing to pay $100 +(should be higher with losses in quarantine) for a black truncata seedling size of 20 coin

Hmm yes that's true. I guess the best option is to wait until they're more readily available here in Aus (speaking of expensive plants.. hamata coming soon at CE :))

Well Ill try join in on an import if there is one, because if we miss out on those 2 releases they wont be any those plants in Australia anytime soon

Hello cp fellows, i have been trying to get in touch with captive exotics, but i heard that they may be going out of business. I hope it's not true as it's very difficult to find plants in Oz.
