Finally, my plants are beginning to emerge from their sleep. In the last two weeks my Sarracenia flowers are emerging and up to 10 cm tall. Sarracenia seed is germinating. Heliamphora growth has drastically increased. Drosera Arcturi, binata, filliformis, rotundafolia, are sending up their first leaves. Tuberous Drosera are beginning to flower. Cephalotus are beginning to send up their non-carnivorous leaves.
I love this time of year.

Inspired by the June 1995 issue of the Carnivorous Plant Newsletter I have purchased a Marina branded worm feeder to grow Genlisea in to fully display the corkscrew traps. I plan to place the feeder (pot) over a 7-11 slurpy cup filled with water. This feeder is available at most pet shops and aquariums.
All I have to do now is find someone selling Genlisea in Australia.

Welcome to the society and hobby. There are plenty of CPs that you could grow in your climate. You can buy CPs in Australia. Just look at the links or jump onto eBay. Being in W.A. does make it hard to post plants to you from the eastern states. Seed may be an easier option.

Plenty of B. liniflora seed still for sale. How does $3 per packet of seed (20+) sound?
