Nepenthes maxima and rokko are good
It depends on the shape of the palm and how shaded the plant will be below.
I have nepenthes outdoors that are climbing up fruit trees but they tend to get filtered light under the tree, while when they reach the top then that part of the plant deals with full sun.

On a hot summer day where its 35 degrees + , I dont think theres any nepenthes that could take full sun all day outdoors.

What causes leaf burn on nepenthes in summer?
I get leaf burn on nepenthes from direct sunlight through a gap between my shadecloth.
Would it be a combination of high intensity light with an extreme uv rating and low humidity?
I always thought it was just the intense midday direct sunlight.

I think the plant should be fine, changing the medium so quickly will add more stress to the plants roots

Its sold out at the moment, but Ive been told theres going to be 2 more releases then thats it for a long time. End of this year and March next year.
Bobblybook, I think the question should be how many of us would be willing to pay $100 +(should be higher with losses in quarantine) for a black truncata seedling size of 20 coin

Same thing happened to one of my ones from captive. It turned a blood red to an almost burnt looking red under grow lights.
The one left outdoors stopped growing in winter and went backwards slightly which points to lowland veitchii.

Funny thing is after a month inside the terranium the leaves have turned back to dark green. Ill get you some photos of it later.

Hi, ive had an intermediate nepenthes plant that has had similar symptons and i think it has something to do with cold weather and low humidity and your sphagnum looks abit too wet.
Ill assume your plant is a truncata lowland, try moving it to a location that gets more light but filtered ie it gets sun most of the day but under 50-70% shadecloth. Also try letting the pot nearly dry out then watering abit and continuing to do so when it nearly drys out again and give it a light mist at night.
It should be fine since its getting warmer and more humid in sydney.
Good luck and happy growing

Hi could you get us a photo?
Theres many reasons that could be causing this, root rot , too dry conditions, too much light etc
